These terms apply when you buy and use a Cardward card. Cardward is operated by Ashmont Pinnacle Advisory FZ-LLC, licence no. 47036759 and registration no. 0000004095797, issued by the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority, United Arab Emirates, referred to below as we or us.
What you are buying
A digital business card published at its own web address, a code that opens it, a print-ready PDF of the card, a private link that lets you edit it, and the card file itself to download and keep. There is no account and nothing to install.
Price
Fifteen dollars a year. The price does not rise in the second year. Removing the small Cardward line from the foot of your card costs ten dollars once. Nothing else is charged.
Refunds
If you are not happy with your card, write to contact@cardward.app within fourteen days of paying and we will refund you in full, with no questions asked. You do not have to give a reason.
After fourteen days your card runs to the end of the year you have paid for, and we do not refund part of a year. If we take a payment in error, we refund it in full whenever you tell us.
Renewal
Before your card expires we will email you in good time. If it is not renewed, the card stops opening. The file you downloaded remains yours and you may host it anywhere else, so nothing you paid for is lost.
Your details and your card
You are responsible for what you put on your card, and for having the right to use it. You must not use Cardward to impersonate somebody else, to publish anything unlawful, or to present a business you are not entitled to represent. We may take a card down without notice if it does these things, and in that case we refund the unused part of the year.
Your web address cannot be changed once your card is made, because printed codes point at it. Everything else on the card can be changed as often as you like, at no extra cost, using your edit link.
Keeping your edit link safe
The edit link is private and there is no password. Anyone who has it can change your card. Treat it the way you would treat a key. If you lose it or believe somebody else has it, write to us and we will issue a new one.
What we promise, and what we do not
We will keep your card online while it is paid for, and we will fix faults that are ours as quickly as we reasonably can. We do not promise the service will never be interrupted, and we are not responsible for failures of the internet, of your phone, or of a third party such as our host or our payment provider.
Cardward is a fifteen dollar product. Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under a law that applies to you and cannot be set aside by agreement.
Printing
We supply a print-ready PDF. We do not print or ship cards, and we are not responsible for the work of the printer you choose or for how the colours appear on their paper.
Ending it
You may stop at any time by not renewing, and you may ask us to take your card down sooner. We may end this agreement if you break these terms, or if we stop offering Cardward, in which case we refund the unused part of your year.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will change the date at the top, and if the change matters and you hold a live card, we will email you before it takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
