What you get
15 dollars a year
- Your card at your own address, live straight away.
- A QR code that opens it, ready to print anywhere.
- A save button that puts you in the other person's phone.
- A print-ready PDF of both sides, in your colour, for any printer.
- A private edit link, to change any detail as often as you like.
- The file itself, to download and host anywhere you like.
One price, with nothing held back and nothing else to buy. If you stop paying, the card comes down and the file stays yours.
Why I created it
I build each product the way I would want to use it myself. The test is simple: does it improve an ordinary part of your day, and does it help you make a decision or move your work forward without getting in the way.
Cardward came from a small frustration I met again and again. Every time someone scanned my card in another app, I found myself talking them through it: skip this step, ignore that one, no, you do not need to install anything. What should have taken two seconds turned into a small performance, and some people still could not save my details at the end of it.
So I removed the obstacles. Someone scans your Cardward card, your details appear, and they save you. No account, no download, nothing in between.
Questions
Is this AI?
No. Cardward is a form and a template. Nothing is generated and nothing is guessed, so your card says exactly what you typed and looks the same every time somebody opens it. A card that quietly rewrote your job title would be a fault, not a feature.
How do I show my card quickly?
Put it on your home screen. Open your card in Safari or Chrome, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Your card then sits with your apps under its own icon and opens full screen in one tap, with no browser bars and nothing to search for. It is the fastest way to hand your details to somebody standing in front of you.
Two other ways people use it: save the code as a photo and mark it a favourite, which works even with no signal, or put the link in your email signature so it travels on every message you send.
Do I need an account?
No. You fill in the form, pay, and the card is published. There is no password and nothing to log in to.
Can I make changes later?
Yes, as often as you like, for as long as your card is live, and at no extra cost. Use the private edit link you were sent, change any detail, and your card updates straight away. Your web address stays the same, so the codes you have already printed keep working. The address itself cannot be changed once your card is made, for that same reason.
Why is there a yearly fee?
Your card has to be hosted and kept online, and a link that stops working is worse than no link at all. Fifteen dollars a year covers the hosting, the edit link and every change you make. Nothing else is charged, and the price does not rise in year two.
What happens if I stop paying?
The card comes down and the file stays yours. You can put the same card on your own website, so you are never locked in.
Can I get a printed card?
You get a print-ready PDF of both sides in your own colour, which any printer can use. Cardward does not print or ship cards, so you keep the choice of paper and printer.
Can I remove the Cardward line?
Yes, for ten dollars once. The small line at the foot of your card is removed and does not come back.
What do you do with my details?
They are published on your card, which is the point of a business card. They are not sold and not shared with anyone else.
